Prenatal Yoga

Prenatal Yoga is a wonderful opportunity to particpate in a class that is tailored for you at this special time in your life.

In addition to the physical benefits of prenatal yoga, these classes are designed to offer you an opportunity for inward reflection,  a chance to connect with other pregnant women and ultimately prepare you for the birth on a holistic level.

Each class has a unique theme with postures designed to nurture and strengthen, while relieving some of the discomfort of pregnancy. The classes include pranayama (breathing techniques), meditations to still your mind, relaxation techniques and birthing mantras.

Alison is a Registered Yoga Teacher in Australia with an Advanced Diploma in Yoga Teaching from The Australian Yoga Academy and is qualified to teach pre-natal yoga.

Classes are suitable for healthy pregnant women in their 2nd trimester onwards (12 weeks+). The ideal time for you to start is after you've had your first scan.  Beginners to Advanced welcome.
